BANDAS DE LA FIESTA DEL SÁBADO EN EL CÍRCULO DE BELLAS ARTES: ROLLIN´ STOMPS
Rollin´ Stomps es una de las bandas de swing que más solera tienen dentro de la escena del swing de Madrid.
Nacieron por encargo de una de las escuelas de swing de Madrid para formar parte de un festival, y desde ahí comenzó su andadura en la escena de jazz y swing de la capital.
Está formada por músicos de gran trayectoria dentro del mundo del jazz y la música moderna, con amplios curriculos y gran experiencia dentro en los escenarios.
Rollin´ Stomps es una banda de swing clásico y jazz, que cuida especialmente sus arreglos para ser fieles al estilo y sonoridad de la época, y mostrar al público la fuerza de la música compacta. Bebe directamente de la fuente de las big bands de todos los tiempos, haciendo reducciones de este repertorio para formato sexteto, por ser una música compuesta directamente para el baile.
Han tocado en numerosos festivales de jazz y swing (Swing en el Pilón, Madrid in Pulse, NuBalboa, Lindy Exchange de Madrid, Big Experience, San Isidro Swing…), así como en los lugares de swing y jazz más emblemáticos (Café Berlín, Clamores Jazz, El Plaza Jazz Club…). Ha trabajado con la mayoría de las escuelas de swing de Madrid (En Modo Swing, Big South, Big Mama…) así como colectivos de jazz y swing (Swing Disorder…). Ha actuado con músicos de prestigio como July Aymi, Art Zaldivar, Marina Ferrer, así como con bailarines de tap de la talla de Lucas Tadeo, John O´Brien o Aitor Montesinos.

Rollin’ Stomps is one of the swing bands that have more prestige inside the swing scene of Madrid.
They were born at the request of one of the swing schools in Madrid to be part of a festival, and from there began their journey in the jazz and swing scene of the capital.
It is made up by musicians of great track record within the world of jazz and modern music, with extensive curricula and great experience inside the scenes.
Rollin’ Stomps is a classic swing and jazz band, which takes special care of its arrangements to be faithful to the vintage style and sound, and to show the public the strength of compact music. They get their inspiration from the big bands of all time, cutting down their repertoire to sextet format, being a music composed directly for the dance.
They have played in numerous jazz and swing festivals (Swing en el Pilón, Madrid in Pulse, NuBalboa, Lindy Exchange in Madrid, Big Experience, San Isidro Swing …), as well as in the most emblematic swing and jazz venues (Café Berlin, Clamores Jazz, The Plaza Jazz Club …). They have worked with most swing schools in Madrid (In Swing Mode, Big South, Big Mama …) as well as groups of jazz and swing (Swing Disorder …).
